About Lichen
Lichen is a small village near Konin but of great importance to all Polish residents. It is home to the largest temple in the country and the seventh largest in Europe. This imposing shrine is visited annually by around 1.5 million pilgrims and tourists. Poland’s biggest church is also home to the country’s largest organ and 141.5 meter high tower which is one of the tallest buildings in Poland.
