The reminders of an eventful history can be seen in its well reconstructed Baroque center, full of narrow lanes, museums, palaces and churches. The Bishop's Cathedral on Kaptalan Hill, although beautiful from the outside, it’s more important for the fascinating sacred objects that it houses, among which the reliquary of Szent Laszlo I (St. Ladislaus I), king of Hungary who reigned between 1077 and 1095.
