The observation tower stands at an impressive 100 meters in height and it is the highest wooden viewing tower in the world. But the height... is not the only reason for jaw-dropping. The design of the structure is marvelous, proving the excellence of both engineers and architects. The tower offers special experience for the children and courageous ones – a ride on the highest covered slide in Europe; and the thrill-seekers should check out the Fly100, a 100 meter long cable-car and Free Fall at 52 meters.

Herrenchiemsee
Germany

If you decide to visit Herrenchiemsee palace, be prepared to be enchanted by the extravagance and decadency seen once in a blue moon. This opulent... fantasy palace was built by Bavarian King Ludwig II known also as “Bavaria’s fairytale king” on the largest island in the Chiemsee Lake. Construction started in 1878 but unfortunately was not finished by the time King Ludwig died, in 1886. In the extravagant interior visitors may explore twenty state rooms that boast décor of the most exquisite quality. But visitors are mostly overwhelmed when entering the huge Hall of Mirrors which is almost a perfect copy of the original Galerie des Glaces in Versailles. With its luxuriant decorations and furnishings, lights and glittering pendant chandeliers it must be one of the most majestic banqueting halls in the world. The palace also features Ludwig II Museum and the Augustinian canon seminary, both worth visiting. If you get tired of all the lavishness, go to Fraueninsel Island across the water that has a Benedictine convent and is perfect for relaxing strolls.

Kids are more than welcomed here - there is a four-level play tower, a playground, and a labyrinth for children that probably the adults too will like.

The glacial lake Bled is often ranked among the top 10 most beautiful lakes in the world, and certainly one of the most divine tourist... attractions in Slovenia. Its emerald-green waters, the high peaks of the Julian Alps in the background, and the tiny island with the 17th century Baroque church and a small museum in the middle of the lake, look as if stolen from a fairy tale picture. The island can be reached in traditional wooden boats – pletnas, operated by standing rowers. The lake is warmed by mild thermal springs for which swimming is possible even in autumn. Walking trail around the lake is 6 kilometers long and can be completed in an hour but if you have time to spear, do visit the Bled Castle from where you will have the most beautiful view of the lake. The castle houses a museum, a wine cellar, a castle smithy, and a restaurant.
