Quality photo of Znojmo - Czech Republic

Znojmo
Czech Republic

75 min

Get caught up in Znojmo simply by walking inside its historic medieval walls and admiring its Renaissance-style architecture. If that doesn’t satisfy your taste, there... is a plethora of attractions – churches, towers, strongholds or the fascinating underground complex of tunnels and cellars that run underneath the town. The town’s oldest monument is the Romanesque Rotunda of Our Lady and St. Catherine, located in the grounds of Znojmo Castle. Finally, the Znojmo region is well famous for its wine, so to leave this town without sampling some of the local wines would simply be a big mistake.

Trebic
Czech Republic

75 min

Many tourists visit Trebic just to see two UNESCO World Heritage sites – the Basilica of St. Procopius and the Jewish Quarter and the Jewish... Cemetery. Sure, these are the most notable ones, but Trebic has many other valuable monuments owing to the rich history of the town.

Jaromerice nad Rokytnou
Czech Republic

60 min

Jaromerice nad Rokytnou is a splendid Baroque chateau whose exteriors can only be described as monumental. Interiors are not less impressive, on the contrary, visitors... may choose from three different tours (taking approximately from 30 to 60 min) as there is so much to be discovered. One tour covers castle’s rooms including Ancestral Hall, three music rooms, Blue Salon, Gold Saloon, dining room, Sala Terrena with Roman baths and much more. Second tour takes you to the castle kitchen and guest rooms, while the third one is the tour of the Church of St. Margaret. The castle also has a vast collection of period musical instruments because its historical owner was a patron of the musical arts.
