Rezevici Monastery
Montenegro

75 min

At the very vicinity of Budva you will come along the lovely Monastery Rezevici that is settled in a beautiful location. The monastery consists of... 3 churches and the legend says that one of the churches was built by Stefan Nemanjić, the first king of Serbia while the other was built by King Stephen Uroš IV Dušan. Another curiosity is the interior of this monastery which is vibrantly painted.

Quality photo of Virpazar - Montenegro

Virpazar
Montenegro

75 min

First being referred to as ‘Vir’, the Ottomans marked the territory as their own with the still present Besac castle. After the Turks’ defeat in... the 18th century, the town prospered in trading and became Virpazar, with ‘pazar’ (marketplace) to signify its importance in the county. There is a massive stone monument in the tragic memory of the Second World War which also took place there. The city itself is centred around the small and yet so charming town square. On Fridays you can see the bustling market, while on other days you can still enjoy many local products after touring the Besac castle and the panoramic view around you.

Petrovac
Montenegro

90 min

The lively scene of cafes, bars and restaurants together with the startling 650 meters long sand beach make Petrovac a desirable tourist destination. But besides... the fun part, this small town features some historical places such as the 16th century Venetian Castello fortress with a beautiful terrace that offers a great view of the sunsets and pebble beaches, or the old Rezevici monastery which was built in the 14th century and is famous for its mosaics.
