The Miedzyrzecz Fortified Region is a unique fortification system of around 100 concrete defense structures and underground tunnels. The total length of 30 km at a depth of 40 m featured railway stations, workshops, engine rooms and barracks fitted with lighting system, ventilation, waterworks and sewage system.
