With an enchanting simplicity of its façade and the complexity of its mosaics, it truly does justice do the depicted patron saint. The Roman heritage on the outside makes a good companion to the heavy columns and medieval statues on the inside. A 10th century altar and a baptismal font as well as the original Roman pavement always leave the stunned visitors at awe.
