Its emerald-green waters, the high peaks of the Julian Alps in the background, and the tiny island with the 17th century Baroque church and a small museum in the middle of the lake, look as if stolen from a fairy tale picture. Walking trail around the lake is 6 kilometers long and can be completed in an hour but if you have time to spear, do visit the Bled Castle from where you will have the most beautiful view of the lake.
