About Duchcov Chateau
In North Bohemia near the spa town of Teplice, stands a glorious Baroque building, mostly known as the workplace of the world renowned lover Giacomo Casanova. He worked as a librarian here, wrote his memoirs and died in 1798. The chateau was built between 1675 and 1685 on the place of a fort from the 13th century. Besides the exhibition about Casanova’s life you can also visit another art exhibition with valuable collection of paintings.
