About Flossenburg
Although smaller in dimensions than other more famous concentration camps, Flossenburg is still a very important historical site and an essential memento of the horrors of the World War II. It was established in 1938 and by the end of the war 30,000 prisoners had died in the camp. The camp is well preserved and informative and the on-site museum includes multi-media displays with the voices and videos of the survivors.
