About Hohle Fels Cave
The Hohle Fels Cave is of outstanding archaeological importance since major archaeological objects were found here such as weapons, jewelry and spectacular sculptures among which also the oldest figure of a woman to be ever found – “Venus of Hohle Fels”. Visitors can admire these spectacular objects estimated to be over 35,000 years old. It is also one of the largest caverns in Southern Germany with a surface area of over 500 square meters and a height of up to 23 meters.
