About Bobolice Castle
Bobolice Castle is a royal castle built in the 1300s by King Casimir III the Great. It faced great destruction during the invasion of the Swedes in 1657. In the 19th century, when a huge treasure was found in the cellars, it was again devastated by the treasure seekers and after that it collapsed into ruins. In 1999 the castle became privately owned and it’s than that the complete restoration began.
