About Orrido di Bellano
Located near the village of Bellano, there is a spectacular natural gorge reachable through the suspended walkways fixed to the rock walls. It was formed over the past 15 million years by the glacial streams, carving out gigantic potholes and caverns. The most famous landmark of this site is the “Devil’s House” featuring frescoes that depict the devil and evoke satanic rituals, dating probably from the early 1800s. Another fascinating feature is a cascading waterfall, which plunges into a vibrant, blue lagoon.
