About Lovcen
Lovcen is the most significant mountain in Montenegro and is even mentioned in the Montenegro anthem. The national park Lovcen covers the central and the highest part of the mountain Lovcen and within the park you can visit the most important monument - Petar Petrovic Njegos Mausoleum. He was Montenegro’s greatest poet and philosopher and his last wish was to be buried at the top of the mountain in the chapel that he designed. If you decide to make a detour to Lovcen, you will also be rewarded with a magnificent 360-degree view of colorfully photogenic national park and Bay of Kotor and Skadar Lake.
