About Roman Catholic Temple in Ofoldeak
First recorded in the late middle ages, the church’s central part was finished much later in the time of the Renaissance. With it being envisioned as a Gothic mausoleum, the temple had to be rebuilt due to its unfortunate destruction during the 16th century. A good portion of the original protective wall still stands to this day, along with a bell tower with an impressive height of 23 meters. In the turn of the last century extensive restoration and window glass redesigning by Andras Szillagyi took place, providing the visitors with a unique insight into the rich history it has endured.
