Even if you are not a botanic enthusiast, you will fall in love with the gardens of Villa Taranto. These gardens were designed by Neil McEacharn, an English officer, in 1931. The gardens are spread over 16 hectares and it took 9 years to complete this huge job. The villa is closed to public as it is a government office but the gardens are open to public and more than 150,000 people come here every year to tour them.
