About Osowka Underground Town
The mysterious Underground Town Gluszyca is the underground complex of tunnels, halls, concrete corridors and fortifications that was built in 1943, during the World War II by workers and prisoners from the camp Gross-Rosen. The real purpose of this mega structure is still a mystery but there are assumptions that it was meant to be an extensive bomb-proof shelter for Hitler or even a factory for producing the secret weapon or chemical, biological or nuclear laboratories. Visitors may decide among various tours that take them to the vast space of around 1700 meters and all the way there is plenty of information on hand.
