About Saint Petka Church
From its first days in the 14th century, this church was like no other, mostly due to its two simple and yet so elegant altars. During the civil war in the turn of the last century, the Catholic one was thrown out to demonstrate the political changes about to happen. After 5 years of difficult warfare, the folk succeeded in convincing the government to return the second altar to signify their religious tolerance. There is also a nearby castle to complete any of your touristic preferences.
