About Stopica Cave
The entrance to this small but amazing cave is huge, one of the largest cave entrances in Serbia. Although the cave itself is not so big and it takes a short tour to explore it, it does have some amazing rock formations as well as the 9 meters tall waterfall called the ‘Source of Life’. The cave is divided in 5 sections: the Light Hall, the Dark Hall, the Great Hall with Pools, the Channel with Pools and the River Channel. The biggest attractions are the cascading “bigren” tubs made of limestone and filled with water and a sipar arch known as the “Dog’s cemetery”.
