It is, therefore, the deepest salt operating mine open for tourist in the world. The mine is 26 km long and 4 km wide and it is characterized by Klodawa’s pink and blue salt which creates spectacular caverns. The designated tourist trail goes between 600 m and 750 m below ground and the tour lasts about two and a half hours.
